Jesus said, “For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them, the souls that say this chaplet will be embraced by My mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death.” The purpose of the Divine Mercy vigil is to pray live with other participants. Live prayer is powerful when it’s said with united minds and hearts, in Jesus’ name.
During the prayer vigil, we pray for our Sacred Servants; our Bishop, our Pastor, and the priests who serve Jesus in the mission to save souls within the UT diocese. We pray for our sick, our needy, the lonely, and the dying. We pray for those in need of immediate prayer support and have posted their intentions on the Stmartincatholicchurch.com website and those souls listed under the “Pray for Sick” portion of our weekly bulletin. All are welcome, even those who just wish to pray for their personal intentions known only to Jesus.
The Vigil's will be prayed on the 1st Friday of each month beginning May 7th at 7 PM. The Vigil is accessible by phone. The Vigil will last approximately 30 minutes and consist of intercessory prayer to St Martin de Porres, the listing of intentions, the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and a closing prayer of thanksgiving.
